Deanna graduated from the New York Film Academy in 2010 where she studied Acting for film at the prestigous Universal Studios, Los Angeles California. Her tutors and mentors included Lynda Goodfriend of Happy Days Fame and Anthony Montes, student of Stanford Miesner.
In 2011 Deanna was cast by Dave Wade ("Cropped") in his latest project A TALE OF OBSESSION where an adolecent teens obsessive personality takes you on a delicious ride of emotions. The film was accepted into and on the official selection of the 2011 Melbourne Underground Film Festival at which Deanna was nominated and WON Best Actress in a Short Film.
Upon returning to Australia in 2010 the role of Monica in acclaimed Mixed Salads latest production of OUT IN THE OPEN directed by Dave Simms ("The History Boys") saw Deanna in an amazing ensemble cast which lead to a Best Drama nomination at the 2011 Adelaide Curtain Call Awards.
Commercials and minor roles in the Nine Networks television series MCLEOD'S DAUGHTERS are just some of credits found on Deanna's CV.
Currently working on a new mini series which will be complete in the last half of 2011.
